Thank you to everyone who attended our 2024 Bus Show sponsored by BCI and the BusWA AGM, held last Friday. A great line up of buses was on display along with our industry related sponsors being represented upstairs.
A well-attended AGM followed with Presentations from APTIA (Ian McDonald) with an Industrial Relations update and Piper Alderman (Maria Capati) on Safety. We sincerely thank both Maria and Macca for their continued work with BusWA.
We were fortunate to have representatives from both The National Party and the Liberal Party in Deputy Leaders Peter Rundle Member for Roe and Steve Martin Agricultural Member also present at the AGM. Both reaffirmed their commitment to the Evergreen contract as the way forward and both have formed policies to this effect.
BusWA have produced a policy document which will be presented at the upcoming regional meetings in August.
